Amon is a new student hailing from East Academy (East School) who enters Duel Academy (Duel Academia) in the third year. He is the eldest son of the Garam family, and possesses a flexible intellect capable of dealing with any opponent immediately.


During the journey to Duel Academy, he stayed on deck with Jim Crocodile Cook, while the other overseas champions remained in their cabins.
