Riverdance phenomenon in the mid 1990s. Dublin composer Michael McGlynn founded An Uaithne [a name which describes the three ancient types of Celtic music, Suantraí (lullaby), Geantraí(happy song) and Goltraí (lament)] in 1987, one of the group's primary aims was to explore and redefine this music, and also to perform his own original works and his arrangements of medieval and traditional Irish music. In 1991 John McGlynn, a qualified architect and Michael's identical twin brother, joined the group and imposed his own personality on many aspects of the choir. Together John and Michael redefined Irish choral music and the name An Uaithne became Anúna.
The group have a particular and unusual vocal sound brought about by the combination of trained and untrained voices and their image is extremely evocative, combining costumed singers with movement and candles. The group won a National Entertainment Award for Classical music in 1994 and were nominated for a Classical Brit Award in 2000.

Anna felt she had to stay with him because, not only had he been borrowing money from friends, but also he was now ill. She wrote, "I would not leave him now under any circumstances." A friend of the family, Dr. Deutsch, performed the surgery.
Anna ended up being mediator of the group, and her goal was to "be better than the other girls" who were fighting and arguing.
Anna was, however, worried about the idea that her father might be subject to indignities such as a house search, etc. She joined the editorial board of American Journal Psychoanalytic Quarterly and produced for it in 1935 a Child Analysis issue dedicated to her work in Vienna.
(1) Anna (Samuel i-ii, 21), mother of Samuel, was one of the two wives of Elcana, a man of Ramah, a Zuphite of the hill-country of Ephraim.
On one of the family's pilgrimages to Silo, Anna made a vow that, should God bless her with a son, she would consecrate him to His service as a Nazarite (Samuel i, 9-11).
(3) Anna is carefully described by Luke 2:36-38, as a prophetess, daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser.
