An Innocent Man, released by Touchstone Pictures in 1989, features Tom Selleck. In it, Selleck plays Jimmie Rainwood, an airline mechanic and upstanding citizen in Southern California. One night, Parnell and Scaliese, two crooked cops, break into Rainwood's house, which they assume is an address where they will buy drugs. The house ends up being the wrong address, and when Jimmie walks out of the restroom with a hair dryer in hand, Parnell shoots him. In order to save themselves, they set Jimmie up and he gets sentenced to six years in prison.
