Anchor brand dairy products are sold by a subsidiary of the New Zealand Dairy Foods. They produce a variety of milk, cheese, cream, and butter products--all other dairy products are sold by other divisions.
One thing that makes the company unique is that it still offers home delivery of its milk products. Most companies that used to offer home delivery have discontinued the service due to declining demand. Some of the home delivery is done by Anchor franchisees.
In addition to the common varieties with differing percentages of milk fat, they also offer "Calci-Xtra", with extra calcium (marketed primarily to women), and "Mega Milk", with extra vitamins, as well as extra calcium, marketed for children.
"Anchor Spreadable" is another of their specialized products. The butter-based spread is softened with canola oil and spreads easily, but marketing claims of being spreadable direct from the refrigerator has been questioned. A recent ad campaign for Anchor Spreadable, created by Jonti Picking, of Weebl and Bob fame, included television commercials featuring wobbly cows.

The new owners retained the T Anchorbrand, leased additional lands, and were the first to hire outside help (from the JA Ranchqv) to tally the cattle.
The T Anchorbrand was discontinued in the Panhandle, but between 1906 and 1910, J. Hardie, a grandson of Jot Gunter, used the brand on his cattle in Duval County.
For several years an annual reunion of former T Anchor employees, known officially as "The Old Time Cowpunchers' Roundup of Each Other on the T Anchor Range," was held at the old log headquarters near U.S. Highway 87 north of downtown Canyon.
