Andrés Avelino Cáceres Dorregaray (10 November 18361923) was twice President of Peru during the 19th century, from 1886 to 1890, and again from 1894 to 1895. He was born in Ayacucho and studied at the local Universidad Nacional San Cristobal de Huamanga, Ayacucho. Thereafter, he traveled to Europe as well as other countries of the Americas that enriched his personality for later becoming president of Peru.
