Biography

Since childhood, Andreas Lundstedt has wanted to be a singer. Alreagy at the age of 5 he took part in a talent competition for children and achieved second place. At age 15 he appeared regularly on television as a member of the band Stage Four. In 1998 he was the founding member of the sucessful Swedish popgoup Alcazar, which still exists. Lundstedt is openly gay and was involved in a relationship with another member of Alcazar, Magnus Carlsson. The group made its European breakthrough with the hit single Crying at the Discotheque. Also during his membership with Alcazar he started his own solo project. So far, he has released four singles and one album. Additionaly, he has had roles in the musicals Grease and Chicago, and is now playing the starring role in Saturday Night Fever. This article is about Spanish Alcazars. ...
