In the finale episode, Countdown to Destruction, Andros boarded Astronema's Dark Fortress and discovered Zordon, who had been missing since the beginning of the series. At Zordon's insistence, and much hesitation, Andros shattered Zordon's energy tube, which released a wave of energy that destroyed the army attacking the universe.   • Andros and Karone are the first siblings to both be Power Rangers, although they would not technically serve on the same team (Karone was designated an honorary Power Ranger by Andros's teammates, but only became a full ranger capable of morphing and piloting a Zord when she was chosen to replace Kendrix Morgan.) Subsequent siblings Leo and Mike Corbett, Dana and Ryan Mitchell, Hunter and Blake Bradley and Madison and Vida Rocca would serve on together.
  • Andros is the first Ranger to be related to a villain--Astronema is his sister. Andros, or Andro (Greek:)Άνδρος, an island of the Greek archipelago, the most northerly of the Cyclades, approximately 10 km (6 miles) south east of Euboea, and about 3 km (about 2 miles) north of Tinos.
In the Hellenistic period Andros was contended for as a frontier-post by the two naval powers of the Aegean Sea, Macedon and Egypt.
Andros (Chora or Hora), the capital of the island, is on a headland between two beaches.
