Andy Fairweather-Low Birth Date: 8th August 1950 Born Hengoed, Wales


Guitarist and vocalist with Amen Corner in the late 1960’s They released 5 singles with Deram (part of Decca) record label in 1967 and 3 singles with the Immediate label including the Number One hit “If paradise is half as nice” Left the group in 1969, after it abortively changed its name to Fairweather. After this he started a solo career releasing at least 4 albums upto 1980 on A&M including Spider Jiving (1974) La Booga Rooga (1975) Be Bop 'N' Holla (1976)


In the 1980’s he worked for numerous different artists, doing mainly session work. In 1992 he started working for Eric Clapton and whilst he has continued to do session work, he has continued to play for him on various albums ever since. He is currently a member of Eric’s band (Oct 2005)

Waters (guitar, vocals, and bass) is touring with a full band of top-flight musicians including Andy Fairweather-Low (guitar), Snowy White (guitar), Doyle Bramhall II (guitar and vocals), Graham Broad (drums), Jon Carin (keyboards), Andy Wallace (keyboards), Katie Kissoon (vocals) and Susannah Melvoin (vocals).
Andy Fairweather-Low has toured and/or recorded with Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Stevie Nicks, and Kate Bush, among others; he has worked with Waters since the 1984 "Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking" tour.
Appearing with Roger Waters (guitar, vocals, and bass) on "In The Flesh" is his band of top-flight musicians including Andy Fairweather-Low (guitar), Snowy White (guitar), Doyle Bramhall II (guitar and vocals), Graham Broad (drums), Jon Carin (keyboards), Andy Wallace (keyboards), Katie Kissoon (vocals), Susannah Melvoin (vocals), and PP Arnold (vocals).
