Taylor in 2001 Andy Taylor (born 16 February 1961) is an English guitarist who plays guitar in the electronic rock/pop band Duran Duran. He was born and raised in Newcastle upon Tyne, and began playing guitar at the age of eleven. He was soon playing with local bands, and even took a hand at producing one at the age of sixteen.
