Aneirin Hughes (born Aneurin Hughes) is a Welsh actor and singer. Born in Aberystwyth in Wales, Hughes studied Music at the University College of Wales Aberystwyth under Professor Ian Parrott. As a student Hughes's first acting experience was gained when he appeared in performances of Gilbert and Sullivan operas conducted by David Russell Hulme. Hughes also studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
