Anetan is a district in the Nauru. It is located in the north of the island and covers an area of 1.0 km². The population is about 880. In this district is the weather station of the island.
Anetan is also a Nauruan constituency, made up of the districts Anetan and Ewa. It covers an area of 2.2 km², and has a population of 1,180. It returns 2 members to the Nauruan Parliament in Yaren.
Anetan bedeutet gemäß Paul Hambruch "Mangroven", was wohl auf eine damals dort große Anzahl an Mangroven zurückzuführen ist; dieser Mangrovenwald ist aber wie die meisten Baumlandschaften an der Küste verschwunden, bedingt durch den Phosphatabbau.
