Anfinn Kallsberg (born November 19th 1947) leader of The Faroese Peoples Party (Fólkaflokkurin). A Faroese Politician, fist elected to the Faroese pairlament in 1980 and consecutively since then, that served as Fisheries Minister for 5 months in Jógvan Sundstein's 1st coalition government in 1989 and as Ecconomical and Finance Minister from 1996 to 1998 in Coalition lead by the Unionist Edmund Joensen. Anfinn became Prime Minister of the Faroe Islends on May 15th 1998 in coalition formed by the Peoples Party, Republic Party and the Independence party. Anfinns 1st. government aimed for ecconomical and actual Independence of the Faroe Islands and started process overtaking various governmental sectors from the Danish Government. As well did the Government set out plan for Soveirgnity of the Faroe Islands. In 2002 The coaliton went through pairlamentary elections thet resulted entrance of the Center party in to the govenrmment. In December 2003 Anfinn took over the ministries previously served by members of the Republic party and issued a new elections that took place in January 2004. In 2005 Anfinn was elected as one of the two Faroese that represent the Islends in the Danish Pairlament.
