Angel appears to be in many ways a tribute to professional wrestler turned actor The Rock, when her HSDM is performed, she adopts a "counter" stance with her foot raised up. If she counters an opponent who is attacking from the air(some ground-based moves where the characters jump also count) she performs the Rock Bottom. If an additional command is input during this time, she also follows it up with The People's Elbow, complete with trademark poses. If she counters a ground-based attack instead, she will begin "Layin' the Smack Down", punching the opponent thrice, then pausing for a second before firing off a fourth hit that sends the opponent flying. All 3 are signature moves of The Rock. Angel's intro quote is also said to be a Japanese equivalent of The Rock's catchphrase, "Can you smell what The Rock is cooking?" ("Anheru-sama no miyougi wo?") She also refers to herself in the third person, like The Rock. This article or section does not cite its references or sources. ... History

Angel is an agent of the secret organization known as NESTS, and was assigned to keep an eye on the experiment K9999. To that end, K9999's purpose was to hunt down traitorous experiments that had left NESTS. To accomplish this, NESTS entered a team, consisting of K9999, Angel, Kula Diamond and Foxy, into the 2001 King of Fighters' tournament, with intents on killing the rogue experiment K'. However, during the final moments of the tournament, it was revealed that Angel, along with K9999, was also on a mission to kill Kula and her guardians. Trivia

  • Angel has a very large tattoo on her back. While hard to make out, it is indeed the symbol of the NESTS organization.
  • Angel's taunt has her do a pose with her hands on her head, with her fingers pointing up representing bull horns. This is actually part of a traditional Mexican cultural dance but could also be a reference to The Rock's nick-name of "The Brahma Bull".
  • The names for Angel's special moves are references to songs performed by a Japanese band called Soul Flower Union.
  • Angel has been voiced by two Japanese seiyu: Miina Tominaga in KoF 2001 and Mayumi Shintani in KoF 2002.
  • Angel has the largest bust size of any KoF female, tied with Shermie at 92cm, quite a bit ahead of the notoriously busty Mai Shiranui.
  • Angel's jumping strong punch attack is basically similar to Iori's 'Lilly Break'. It connects when she is jumping over her opponent, starting many devastating combos
  • In KoF 2001, she is considered somewhat low tier, while in KoF 2002, although some debate arises, she is generally considered upper/high mid to low top tier.

Iori Yagami information - Search.com (3252 words)
Both fighters battled with their utmost, Iori even managing to suppress his cursed blood, wielding crimson flames.
In The King of Fighters 2003, Iori reluctantly teamed up again with Kyo and Chizuru Kagura at the latter's request, as it seemed that the current tournament might prove to be linked to the Orochi.
While Iori does appear in The King of Fighters Maximum Impact 2 with his flames intact, the Maximum Impact series is not a part of the traditional KOF canon, and this cannot be used as proof that Iori's flames, or even Iori himself, will remain in KOF XII.
