Anglesey Airport (Maes Awyr Mon or RAF Valley) (IATA: N/AICAO: EGOV) is an airport owned Royal Air Force (RAF). The airport is situated on the island of Anglesey, Wales. It currently the airport is only used as an RAF station to teach future RAF pilots using BAE Hawks. The plans put forward early 2006 suggested the airport will offer two flights a day to Cardiff International Airport, in the Welsh capital, the plans were put forward by the National Assembly for Wales in hope of increasing the econonomy of Anglesey and North Wales in general.
