Encyclopedia > Angoulême International Comics Festival Prize for Best Comic Book
This Prize for Best Comic Book is awarded to comics authors at the Angoulême International Comics Festival. As is the customary practice in Wikipedia for listing awards such as Oscar results, the winner of the award for that year is listed first, the others listed below are the nominees. The name of this award was originally the Alfred, in the name of Zig et Puce's penguin. In 1989, the name changed for Alph'art, remembering Hergé's uncompleted comic book, and in 2003, it finally changed for the formal current name. The Angoulême International Comics Festival is the main comics festival in Europe. ...
