"Anna (Go to Him)" is a song written and originally performed by Arthur Alexander and was released by him on Dot Records on 17 September 1962. A personal favourite of John Lennon's, it became part of The Beatles' early repertoire and was consequently recorded by them on their 1963 debut album, Please Please Me.
