Margaret Anne Begg (born December 6, 1955, Brechin, Scotland) is a Scottish politician and member of Parliament, for Aberdeen South since 1997. She is a member of the Labour Party. Educated at Damacre Primary School, Brechin High School and Aberdeen University where she earned a degree in history and politics. A former history teacher. She has been in a wheelchair for many years as she lives with a degenerative brittle bone disease.
