Annette Ducharme is a Canadian musician and songwriter. She is best known as a songwriter for other performers, including Tom Cochrane and Lawrence Gowan, but has also recorded several albums, both as a solo artist and as a member of the bands Don't Argue With Her and Bowers-Ducharme (with Jimmy Bowers).


Ducharme, a franco-ontarian, was born in Windsor, Ontario.

Though Ducharme was still around two decades after she stepped up on a stage to perform, her musical career has been one filled with now-you-see-her's and now you don't.
Annette Ducharme, sometimes called Anet by fans and friends, was born in Windsor, Ontario.
Her career seemed on the up swing after that, but suddenly Ducharme pulled away and all but vanished from the music world's spotlight for most of what was left of the decade.

Transplanted Windsor native, Annette Ducharme, made her musical mark on the Vancouver music sence before fame had caught up with her.
In 1981 she released the 'In Real Life' EP when she was part of the Bowers Ducharme Duo that didn't further her career very much, but she was able to stay away from "real" day jobs, only temping occasionally when necessary.
Most recently Annette was touring and recording her next album with a permanent band featuring three members of the popular Hamilton cover band The General Lee.
