There are two small grocery stores and a Nazarene church. Fire fighting services include one local volunteer fire station with back-up provided by additional units from near by Lancaster. It also provides immergency medical services. Nearby Del Sur Elementary School provides school bus service as do High School facilites located in near by Quartz Hill.The Antelope Valley Community College is also available. The life style of persons living in Antelope Acres tends to be rural. Many residents own and ride horses. They often raise their own beef, swine, and poultry. These endeavors are supported by a local chapter of 4-H.
