The Anthem of the Azerbaijan SSR was the national anthem of Azerbaijan when it was an union republic in the USSR, used from 1944 to 1992 (The lyrics were modified in 1978). It was composed by Uzeyir Hajibeyov, who also composed the current Azerbaijani national anthem.
