Encyclopedia > Anthony, Duke of Brabant

Antoine of Burgundy (1384 - October 25, 1415, in the battle of Agincourt), was Duke of Brabant and Limburg and Margrave of Antwerp. Anthony was son of duke Philip II of Burgundy and Margaret III of Flanders, and brother of John the Fearless. He was the first Brabantian ruler of the House of Valois.
