Anthony Ross (February 23, 1909 - October 26, 1955) was a Broadway stage and film actor. He may be best remembered for being the first to play the character of "the Gentleman Caller" in Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie. In films, Ross worked for 20th Century Fox in films including Kiss of Death (1947) and The Gunfighter (1950). Ross also appeared in the Nicholas Ray-directed film noir, On Dangerous Ground in 1952.
