Band receives an academic credit and therefore the grade should be a reflection of the students' ability and his/her participation in the organization.
Marching Band is the primary function of the band during the first three months of the school year and therefore is the primary source of the students' grades.
Because of time needed to prepare for band, a person is tardy to the marching field at 5 minutes past the tardy bell and to concert rehearsal at 2 minutes past the tardy bell or if not in the Band Room when the tardy bell rings.
