Anže Kopitar (born August 24, 1987) is a highly rated 17 year old Slovenian hockey player. According to the NHL's European Scouting Service, Kopitar is the number one European draft prospect, he currently plays in the Swedish Elitserien for Södertälje SK. Kopitar may become the first Slovenian born NHL player. He was drafted in the first round, 11th overall, by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
