Apatin has many places which are popular for tourists and tourism. Because of the closenes of the Danube river and forests, it's a heaven for fishermen and hunters. Also, there is a tradicional gathering called "Apatinske ribarske večeri" (lasting for over 40 years). "Ribarske večeri" usually starts on July 1, and lasts seven days.
