Prince had originally intended his classic tracks "Manic Monday" (later recorded by The Bangles), "17 Days" (later used as the B-side to "When Doves Cry"), and "The Glamorous Life" (recorded by Sheila E. in 1984) for the Apollonia 6 album but he soon lost interest in the project when he became convinced that Apollonia was only there to fulfill her job's obligations and would not be continuing with his group after her contractual obligations to completing the film and one album were fulfilled. After the group's demise, Kotero continued working on TV shows such as Falcon Crest and in B-movies for the next decade. She even released a solo album to lackluster success in 1988. • A four-track video was filmed based on the Apollonia 6 album, directed by Brian Thomson (Australian Production Designer of the original stage versions of Rocky Horror Show and Jesus Christ Superstar), scripted by Keith Williams (concept writer for such videos as Against All Odds/Phil Collins, Ghostbusters/Ray Parker Jr, and She Works Hard for the Money/Donna Summer), with a cast comprising of Ricky Nelson, Edy Williams and Buck Henry. Shot in a Los Angeles film studio in 1985, and produced by Limelight, a UK video company operating out of LA, it never went beyond rough-cut and has never seen the light of day...that is until recently. The video was posted on Youtube on August 30, 2007 and has left fans both surprised (that it exsisted) and delighted. The video is a mini movie and probably titled "Happy Birthday, Mr. Christan" (it contains no real opening but the closing title suggests that) that first features part of "Happy Birthday, Mr. Christian" along with the full tracks for "Oh She She Waa", "Sex Shooter" and "Blue Limousine". The storyline features has the girls mourning over the loss of "Mr. Christian". They sit at his will reading only to discover he left them nothing and tells them to get jobs. Thus, each "job" becomes almost it's own stand-alone video which could have been suitable perfectly suitable for MTV. There is some dialouge in between each as well, mostly with the girls lamenting the loss of their jobs to each other (while the entire group is featured in every "video", they end up becoming showcases for the lead vocalists). "Oww She She Waa Waa" features Susan signing in a diner while her bears come to life as cheesy eighties muscle men. Apollonia plays a cashier and male fantasy in "Sex Shooter". Brenda pumps gas and gets tied up between a bunch of white cars in "Blue Limousine", until someone appears...Mr. Christain as played by Ricky Nelson. There are no credits at the end of the flim "which ends by playing nearly the rest of the track "Happy Birthday, Mr. Christan" along with a the name of the track in neon, suggesting it's the title of the "movie" but there is a black screen, which where the credits would have been added.
