Appleton Estate is a sugar estate and distillery originating from Jamaica. They produce a wide variety of aged rums, as well as standard gold and white rums. Their parent company is Wray & Nephew, who also produce the popular overproof rum under that name. Distillation is a means of separating liquids through differences in their boiling points. ... Products

Appleton produces four varieties of gold/amber rum according to their general age:

  • Appleton Estate V/X, the standard rum, aged 2-6 years
  • Appleton Estate Reserve, a mix of slightly older rums, aged 6-10 years.
  • Appleton Estate Extra is aged 12-18 years. (Minimum of 12 years)
  • Appleton Masters Blend is aged between 15-30 years (including a small amount of 40 year old rum)
  • Appleton Estate 21 is 21-40 years old. (Minimum of 21 years)
  • Appleton 250th anniversary only 6,000 bottles produced, in honour of their 250th anniversary.
