Encyclopedia > Appoquinimink River

The Appoquinimink River is a river, approximately 10 mi (16 km) long, in northern United States.


It rises in eastern New Castle County, approximately 2 mi (3 km) southwest of Middletown. It flows generally east, passing south of Middletown and Odessa. It enters Delaware Bay at its north end, near the mouth of the Delaware River, approximately 7 mi (12 km) east of Middletown.
