The title of the song is the date of King's verdict, which led to the riots. However the opening lyric in the song is 'April 26th 1992/there was a riot on the streets/tell me where were you?'. The wrong date in the lyric can be explain as a mistake, but another story tells of Bradley strong vocal performace on that cut so they decided to keep it.
