Career

April Hunter was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but moved to Enterprise, Alabama with her father when her parents divorced. At the age of sixteen she returned to Philadelphia. She attended college, majoring in English, Biology and Chemistry, but dropped out after several years. At the age of nineteen she began working as an erotic dancer, but found that she disliked the industry, so she became a fitness model instead. In 2000 Hunter was hired by Terry Taylor on behalf of World Championship Wrestling (after they saw her layout in Playboy) as a member of the "Black and White" nWo. Along with four other models (Tylene Buck, Pamela Paulshock, Midajah O'Hearn and Kim Kanner) she accompanied members of the nWo to ringside for their matches. When the nWo split up, the models remained with Scott Steiner, and were identified as his "freaks". After leaving WCW, Hunter decided to become a wrestler, and in 2001 she moved to Boston, Massachusetts to train under the venerable Killer Kowalski. She began working on the independent circuit, and eventually met Slyk Wagner Brown, who she would both manage and form an intergender tag team with known alternately as Team SWB and Big Red or Team Underground. Hunter also formed a tag team with fellow Kowalski graduate Nikki Roxx in World Xtreme Wrestling known as The Killer Babes. On August 30, 2006, April married her Canadian wrestling boyfriend, J.D. Michaels, in a small, private ceremony at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

April was told by NWA Cyberspace that since they pulled Slyck, they had to pull her off the show too, which to me, makes no sense at all.
April was visibly upset that she wasn't allowed to perform in front of her NWA Cyberspace fanbase, but took this unusual and ignorant "punishment" in stride.
For the record, April Hunter did not trash NWA Cyberspace to anyone who tried fishing it out of her, but at the same time, she definitely made it known that she'd rather be wrestling than sitting in a crowd.
