Estado Aragua is located in the north-central region of Venezuela. It has plains and jungles and beautiful Caribbean beaches. The most popular are Cata and Choroni.


The capital is Maracay.


Aragua State covers a total surface area of 7,014 km² and, in 2001, had an estimated population of 1,449,616 (source http://www.ine.gov.ve )
