Degrassi: The Next Generation

Season 2

Marrying Spike

In season 2, right before their wedding, Spike found out she was pregnant but didn’t tell Snake because he had told her he didn’t want kids right away. She thought about getting an abortion which upset Emma. Emma went behind her mom’s back and told Snake about the baby while he was at his bachelor party. Snake was upset and shocked that Emma had to tell him and not Spike. On the day of their wedding, Spike fesses up about the baby but Snake isn’t as angry as she expected. They talk things out and make it to their wedding on time.

Season 3

Cancer

In season 3, Snake learned he had leukemia and battled with it throughout the entire season, with the help of his wife, Spike, his stepdaughter Emma, friends, and family. Leukemia or leukaemia (see spelling differences) is a cancer of the blood or bone marrow and is characterized by an abnormal proliferation (production by multiplication) of blood cells, usually white blood cells (leukocytes). ...

Season 5

Infidelity

In season 5, Snake was discovered by Emma while he was kissing Degrassi’s principal, Ms. Hatzilakos in an empty theater. Ms. Hatzilakos is the mother of Peter Stone whom Emma dates. When Snake came home the next day he revealed he had sold his motorcycle for tickets to Mexico for him and Spike. Spike then said she didn’t “deserve such a perfect husband.” Emma angrily tells them to stop it and Snake had to confess. Spike kicks him out of the house. Eventually they made up and Snake moved back in. He later states he's going to use the money to take them all (including Manny) to New York. It seemed that the trip was canceled due to Emma's battle with anorexia. Daphne Hatzilakos is a fictional character on Degrassi:The Next Generation played by Melissa DiMarco. ... Season 6

J.T.'s Death

When J.T. was murdered by Lakehurst, the school had a memorial for him and Mr. Simpson officiated it and told everyone that many were effected including himself.

Trivia

  • In most scenes he is either the only character standing or the only one sitting, because of his extreme height difference; he is 6' 5".
  • When another character is standing near him, they are often on high shoes to appear taller.
  • In the Degrassi Junior High book "Exit Stage Left", Snake's real name is listed as "Mike Snakowski", but this, as with anything else occurring in the Degrassi books that did not also occur in the TV series, is not considered canonical.
