Ardrishaig is a village at the southern (eastern) entrance to the Crinan Canal in west Scotland, in Argyll.


The village is located on Loch Fyne and is immediately to the south of the town of Lochgilphead. It has a pier and a couple of pubs.

Ardrishaig (pronounced "ar-drishig") is a lochside village at the southern (eastern) entrance to the Crinan Canal in west Scotland, in Argyll.
In the 1970s, the village was severely disfigured when the old row of houses and shops on the lochside of the main street were demolished to make way for a car park.This unfortunately has irreversibly changed the feel of this once pretty village.Most trading takes place now in its neighbouring town Lochgilphead.

Ardrishaig stands at the southern end of the Crinan Canal, the gateway to the Western Isles.
