0252 was for the Aldershot linked numbering scheme (LNS) which included Farnborough. 0251 was for Aldershot level 8, eg. when in Aldershot you were told to dial 87 for Yateley. It is believed that all the 0251 exchanges had become part of the LNS before phONE Day.
