Area code 440 is a North American telephone area code serving part of Northeast Ohio, United States, including the Greater Cleveland area. 440 covers all of Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula counties. It serves almost all of Lorain County. Finally, 440 shares Cuyahoga County with Area code 216.
