Arik Marshall originally played guitar in the band 'Marshall Law' with his brother. He joined the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1992 to replace John Frusciante. He played the 'Lollapalooza' festival is them where they famously wore flames on their heads. He also appeared in the Simpsons with them in the episode "Krusty Gets Kancelled. Arik left the Chili Peppers in 1993 and now plays in Macy Grays band.
