There were 1,770 households out of which 27.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.9% were married couples living together, 8.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.6% were non-families. 17.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The median income for a household in the CDP was $37,432, and the median income for a family was $41,500. Males had a median income of $33,611 versus $25,614 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $19,037. About 5.3% of families and 6.2% of the population were below the poverty line, including 6.6% of those under age 18 and 6.7% of those age 65 or over.
