Encyclopedia > Arkansas Arts Center

The Arkansas Arts Center is located in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is the leading cultural institution in the state. The center features a permanent collection of various works of art along with occassional special exhibitions. The center also has a research library and several art education classes for all age groups. The Children's Theater is a very popular attraction featuring plays of classic children's stories. A restaurant and gift shop are also located within the center.
