Arrecife is also a port town serving to other islands and to Europe and mainland Africa. Arrecife is accessed with LZ1 linking to the north, LZ2 and LZ3 and is bypasses to the northwest and west. The highway to the southern portion of the island lies to the west. The main industry are agriculture, business and tourism. The main "internal" Spanish flights arrive from Madrid Airport, Gran Canaria and Tenerife North which is the main inter island hub for the Canary Islands.
The bus fare for this journey is around €0.90 and from the Arrecife bus terminal you can transfer to buses that will take you to Puerto del Carmen, Femes, Maguez, Orzola, Los Valles, Montana Blanc, Conil, La Asomada, San Bartolome, Teguise, Tias and Puente Mujeres.
