Information

Art Rock Circus has been the brainchild of composer John Miner. The band was originally put together after his departure from California based progressive rock group Mantra Sunrise. The band's first mission was to perform the rock opera Heavens Cafe in Las Vegas in 1996. Miner followed up with A Passage to Clear in 1999 and both recordings were released on the Tributary Music Label in 2000. Miner recruited new members in the early 2000s and with the collaboration of writing partner Nolan Stolz released a double CD titled Tell a Vision in 2005. The band continues to record and perform under the Art Rock Circus moniker. Miner also contributed guitar work on the album K2 Book of the Dead released on Prog Rock Records featuring songwriter and bassist Ken Jaquess and guitar virtuoso Allan Holdsworth.
