Arthur Mitchell is the leader of the Yukon Liberal Party. He is a former businessman and Alternate Chair of the Yukon Worker's Compensation Health and Safety Board. Mitchell was also a member of the City of Whitehorse Parks and Recreation Board, and the Elijah Smith Elementary School Council. He was elected leader in June 2005 in a Leadership Race against Pat Duncan, the Yukon Territory's first Liberal premier. Mitchell was elected to the Yukon Legislative Assembly in a by-election on 21 November 2005 in the Copperbelt riding. The Yukon Liberal Party is a political party in the Yukon Territory in Canada. ...
