Natura artis magistra, commonly known simply as Artis, is a zoo in Amsterdam. It is the largest zoo of the Netherlands. There is also a planetarium.

Artis, Netherland’s oldest zoo, was founded on 1 May 1838 by the name of 'Natura Artis Magistra', the Royal Zoological Society.
