Mr. Krabs has Squidward directing a commercial for the Krusty Krab. When he finds out how much money Squidward is using, he decides to direct it himself. SpongeBob has a small role in the commercial, only appearing twice, each time a cameo apperance.

After the commercial airs, SpongeBob thinks he is famous after he is addressed by an old man (who actually saw a box of 'Bran Flakes'). Then he hears two fish talk about "Freddy Flounder" and how he should cut a solo record, but SpongeBob again thinks that they are talking about him. He quits being a fry cook and starts entertaining, much to the chargin of the customers and Squidward. When SpongeBob tries juggling, he drops a patty on the grill. However, the customers are pleased, and SpongeBob actually makes Krabby Patties for them without knowing he is acting as a fry cook.
