Asami Kimura (木村麻美?) (born July 17, 1984 in Tomakomai, Hokkaido, Japan) is a musician and former member of Hello! Project. She joined the group Country Musume in 2000 and became the group leader in 2002. She also played on the Gatas Brilhantes H.P. futsal team. She graduated from Hello! Project on January 28, 2007. She is currently living in Tokyo, Japan, and according to her graduation speech, she would like to pursue a career involving animals.
