A student of ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, acro, musical theatre and hip hop, she has been honoured with awards and accolades at several prestigious North American competitions. In 2004, she garnered the senior title of Miss Dance at the Dance, Dance, Dance competition; top senior dancer at Flash Dance, and Senior Title and Dancer of the Year at 5-6-7-8 Showtime, as well as being named the top senior dancer at the Can Dance competition. When she was just five years old, the Hamilton, Ontario native began her theatrical training with Theatre Aquarius’ Performing Arts Program under the direction of Lou Zamprogna. That same year, Ashley made her professional theatre debut playing “Marta” in Theatre Aquarius’ production of The Sound of Music.
