Eleusis military airport forms its communal and municipal boundary in its west. Mount Parnitha is in the northeast. A small port is founded in the south and the shores are aligned with trees. Willow and other types of pineless trees dominate the city's coastline. Aegaleo mountain is in the southwest and its landscape is rocky. Its nearest highway is GR-8A/E94 with its interchange at 2 km south of the centre. The interchange was a junction until 1994. It was closed off from 1996 until 1997 to extend the number of lanes to four. The main street also serves a road that linked the Peloponnese and the northern and eastern suburbs of Athens.
