Assassin is a French hardcore rap group. The pioneering group was formed in 1985 by Rockin' Squat and Solo. Later, Doctor L joined them, as well as DJ Clyde and the American SwizzieRoc. True to their musical and lyrical roots, Assassin are primarily interested in social criticism and uncompromising music.

Rockin' Squat is Jean-Pierre Cassel's (actor) son and brother of Vincent Cassel (actor).
