Assisi Vidyaniketan Public School is a school in Kakkanad, Kochi. More popularly known as AVPS or simply "Assisi" it was founded by the Jesuit fathers (Late Rev.Fr. Kannikal) in June 1994. With initially just one building, the school has now grown to have most facilities than any other school in Kochi.Assisi now has the best results in the board examinations of 10th and 12th making it one of the best schools in Kochi.Assisi vidyaniketan also has a School in Vypeen, which is also called Assisi Vidyaniketan. Assisi now has the best facilities in Kochi including two indoor swimming pools, spacious computer labs in each building and two indoor courts for badminton and basketball.It also has a fleet of nine buses plying to almost all parts of Kochi and outside.In fact Assisi gives importance to the comprehensive all round develpoment of the student. Well i happen to have studied for two years in Asissi and i must say that the i still cherish my memories of the place. Its the only school which supports and encourages any quality of a student rather just academic ones.
sorry i cannot agree with what was said before....there is no encouragement for anythin....not even for academic students,...forget bout the students interested in co curicular activities....
