The Association of Accounting Technicians, or AAT, is a UK organisation with over 100,000 members. The AAT provides exams for its members to take twice a year, and enables them to progress in their career to become fully qualified accounting technicians. Once a person has qualified as an accounting technician, he can go on to take further exams with other accounting institutions, such as CIMA or ACCA.
