The Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada (ATS) is a membership organization of more than 250 graduate schools that conduct post-baccalaureate professional and academic degree programs to educate persons for the practice of ministry and for teaching and research in the theological disciplines.
The mission of The Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada is to promote the improvement and enhancement of theological schools to the benefit of communities of faith and the broader public. [1]

The ATS runs the Commission on Accrediting, which provides accreditation for graduate schools of theology. The Commission is made up of all member schools which are themselves accredited or are candidates for accrediting. A bachelors degree is usually an undergraduate academic degree awarded for a course that generally lasts three or four years. ...
